ATTENTION VISITORS TO SEABROOK HOUSE…
ALL ADULT ADMISSIONS HAVE A 7 DAY BLACKOUT PERIOD.
Sunday visitation hours are from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm. Two (2) adults and children, ages 15 and younger who have been pre-approved by clinical staff are permitted during Sunday visitation. However, visitation cannot occur on Sunday if the patient is on the 7 day blackout period. Families do not need to attend The Family Program in order to visit on Sunday.
The following is a list of Seabrook House rules for visitors. Please help maintain order by observing them. Any breaking of these rules will result in visitors being asked to leave the premises and further visitation privileges denied.
No surprise visitors are permitted. Anyone not on our visitors list will be turned away.
- Sunday visitors are expected to arrive between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. Upon entering Seabrook House grounds, you must check in with our Security staff. They will confirm that you are on their approved visitor’s list.
- After the Security check in, please go directly to Founder’s Hall and register with our receptionist. Parking areas will be monitored and visitors in unauthorized areas will be asked to leave the premises.
- Our receptionist will ask you to sign in and provide you with a “visitor” badge. This is necessary so that no unauthorized persons are on grounds. Patients have wristbands, employees have identification badges and all visitors must have badges. Please wear it throughout your visit and return it to the receptionist in the lobby area before leaving the premises.
- If you have packages or other items to bring to the patient you are visiting, give them to Security personnel at check in. All items brought in must be labeled with the patients name and in bags. ALL PACKAGES WILL BE SEARCHED BEFORE THEY ARE GIVEN TO THE PATIENTS. THIS WILL MOST LIKELY BE DONE AFTER YOUR VISIT, DUE TO THE VOLUME OF PACKAGES THAT COME IN ON THE WEEKENDS.
- ANY OPENED PACKS OF CIGARETTES WILL BE CONFISCATED. PATIENTS ARE PERMITTED ONLY UNOPENED PACKAGES OF CIGARETTES. Chewing tobacco is not permitted.
- Please do not bring any potted plants, stuffed animals, food, candy, soda or over the counter medications with you. This policy enables us to maintain the health and safety of our patients. We are sorry for the inconvenience but there are no exceptions to this rule.
- Visiting is permitted in Founder’s Hall and in the patio area directly behind Founder’s Hall only.
- When leaving Seabrook House, you must return your visitors pass to the receptionist and say goodbye to your loved one in the lobby. Patients are not permitted to walk you to your car or into the parking lot.
- The smoking area for visitors is located in the gazebo in front of Founder’s Hall. Please do no smoke in any other area. Patients are permitted to smoke only in their assigned area and not with visitors.
We appreciate your cooperation in following the above rules. We believe that if we work together, it will make your visit more enjoyable for you and your loved one. Family involvement is a welcome and required component of care at Seabrook House. Adherence to these standards will support quality care for your family.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
